A 21-Day Immersion in Ancient Taoist Practice
Reclaim the energy your body has been losing. Transform it into vitality, clarity, and pleasure that builds rather than depletes.
The question no one asked you
In Taoist medicine, a woman's most potent life force — called Jing — is concentrated in the ovaries. Every cycle, much of that energy discharges along with the blood. Add emotional depletion, unconverted orgasm, and chronic stress, and most women are running at a significant deficit without knowing why.
The fatigue. The flatness after intimacy. The sense that your energy is always flowing outward — into your work, your relationships, your body's maintenance — and rarely back to you.
This is not a personality flaw. It is a practice gap. And it has a solution that is more than two thousand years old.
This workshop is for you if...
You experience painful or draining periods and sense there is something more your body is capable of — if you only knew how to work with it rather than against it.
Your sexuality feels limited to brief peaks followed by flatness, and you have wondered whether pleasure could be something that builds you rather than depletes you.
You practice yoga, meditation, or other body-based disciplines and are ready for the layer that addresses sexual and creative energy directly.
You feel disconnected from your body, your cycle, or your own vitality — and want a structured, grounded practice to return to yourself.
The practice
Ovarian Kung Fu is a Taoist internal alchemy practice developed and taught by Master Mantak Chia through the Universal Tao System. It centres on two core techniques — Ovarian Breathing and the Orgasmic Upward Draw — through which sexual and ovarian energy is drawn upward through the spine, refined at key transformation points, and circulated back through the organs and glands as life force.
The result is not suppression of sexual energy. It is something more sophisticated: the redirection of your body's most abundant and versatile fuel into healing, vitality, clarity, and a completely different quality of pleasure.
This is the same energetic principle that causes elite athletes to stop menstruating — the body has learned a more efficient use for the energy. The difference is that here, the redirection is conscious, intentional, and in service of your whole being.

“The ovaries are the seat of a woman's creative and spiritual power. To waste this energy is to live at a fraction of one's potential.”— Mantak Chia, Healing Love Through the Tao
What shifts
The Sacral and Cranial Pumps described by Chia correspond directly to the craniosacral rhythm documented by modern osteopathy — minute rhythmic movements of the skull bones that circulate cerebrospinal fluid through the brain and spinal cord.
Everything included
By week two I could feel the energy moving up my spine. By the end of the three weeks my period — which had been five days of cramping for fifteen years — was two days, almost painless. I was not prepared for how literal this would be.
I have practiced yoga for twelve years. This is the first thing that has ever given me a direct, felt relationship with my own energy — not as a concept, but as something I can actually feel and work with. Completely different.
The Valley Orgasm is real. I thought it was metaphor or spiritual hyperbole until Day 19. It is not metaphor. It is a completely different quality of experience that I now understand will only deepen with practice.
The lineage
This practice did not originate in a workshop. It was transmitted through generations of Taoist masters who treated sexual energy as the foundation of health, longevity, and spiritual development — and who refined their methods through centuries of direct experimentation and careful passing of knowledge.
Mantak Chia was among the first to bring these teachings to the West in their practical, teachable form, through the Universal Tao System. His work in Healing Love Through the Tao is the primary source from which this workshop is drawn — translated into a structured modern curriculum while preserving the integrity and precision of the original transmission.
This is not wellness content. It is an ancient practice, offered to women who are ready to take it seriously.
A complete practice. One investment.

None at all. The workshop is designed for complete beginners. Week 1 builds all the conceptual and anatomical foundations from the ground up. The only requirements are a genuine curiosity about your own body and a willingness to practice consistently.
It is recommended to rest from active Ovarian Breathing during the period itself and resume from Day 1 of the post-menstrual phase, which is the window of maximum benefit. The Microcosmic Orbit meditation can be practiced gently throughout the cycle. The workshop includes detailed guidance on how to align your practice with your current cycle phase.
The entire workshop — including the Orgasmic Upward Draw — is designed as solo cultivation first. This is by design: Mantak Chia strongly recommends mastering the solo practice before attempting dual cultivation with a partner. Solo practice is not a lesser version. It is the foundation.
Sessions in Week 1 begin at 20 minutes. By Week 3 the sessions run 35–40 minutes. After Day 21, the rock-bottom maintenance practice is one full round per day — which, once learned, takes approximately 10 minutes for Ovarian Breathing and 15–20 for the Orgasmic Draw. Many practitioners find twice-daily sessions of 15 minutes each become the most sustainable long-term rhythm.
The practice is considered safe when followed as instructed. The workshop includes detailed safety guidance throughout — including the venting exercises for excess energy, protocols for women with high blood pressure, and the importance of always completing the practice by storing energy at the navel rather than leaving it in the head or heart. Women with active pelvic infections, recent pelvic surgery, or serious cardiovascular conditions should consult a healthcare practitioner before beginning.
This is not a live cohort with fixed deadlines. All materials are accessible at your own pace, and lifetime access means you can repeat, revisit, or restart as many times as needed. That said, the 21-day structure exists for a reason — building each skill before the next — so we encourage following the sequence in order even if your pace is different from the calendar.
Twenty-one days. A practice that has outlasted empires. And a quality of vitality, pleasure, and inner sovereignty that no one can give you — only you can cultivate it.
