In a world that often feels like pure chaos, it is easy to get pulled in a thousand different directions. When the noise becomes too loud, I find myself practicing a mental homecoming: I retreat into a circle with a single point at its center.
This is the Circle of Will.
When we are scattered toward the edges, we focus on the "scenery" of our lives, the external circumstances, the problems, and the distractions. But because the world is a reflection of our internal state, focusing only on the scenery leads nowhere. To change the picture, you have to change the projector.
I go back to that center point and ask: What do I truly want?
The Law of Reflection
We are the architects of our own reality. When something in our life isn't "working," it is often a sign that something inside, a fear, a limiting belief, or a lack of faith, is creating a blockage.
One of my greatest inspirations, Dr. Wayne Dyer, taught that we are the product of our intentions. If we can identify the internal factor that is out of alignment, we can use our intention to shift it. It may sound like science fiction, but it is the mechanical truth of how life works.
10 Secrets for Inner Alignment
In my personal sessions, I often share these principles (inspired by Dr. Dyer's wisdom) to help people navigate this internal shift:
- Keep an open mind: Stop assuming you know everything. Curiosity opens doors; attachment to being "right" closes them.
- Share what you carry: You cannot give peace or love to others if you haven't cultivated them within yourself first.
- Release grudges: Resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to get sick. Let it go for your own sake.
- Don't die with your song unsung: Find what lights you up and pursue it. Don't play it safe and leave your gift unexpressed.
- Embrace stillness: In silence, we reconnect with a wisdom far greater than our daily worries.
- Leave the past behind: Your history does not define your "now." Stop dragging old stories into your present.
- Shift your mindset: You cannot solve a problem with the same thinking that created it.
- Act as if: Don't wait for perfection. Start showing up as the confident, loving person you want to become today.
- Remember your essence: You are more than your body, your job, or your bank account. You are connected to the infinite.
- Choose empowering thoughts: Your thoughts shape your reality. Consciously choose the ones that build you up.
The Breath: Your Way Home
The door to this transformation is always open, but the "static" of life often prevents us from hearing the call. The quickest way back is through the one thing that keeps us alive: the breath.
When you breathe deeply, you return "home" to your center. Close your eyes. Feel the thing you desire. Connect to the sensation of already having it. This isn't just imagination; it's alignment.
The Lesson of the Farmer
Many people start this work and give up after a week because they don't see immediate results. But consider the farmer:
When a farmer plants a seed, he doesn't dig it up every morning to see if it has sprouted. If he did, he would kill the plant. He trusts the soil. He knows that silence, darkness, and time are the "fertilizers" the seed needs to grow.
If you give up because your dream hasn't manifested "right now," you stop the process before it can reach fulfillment. Give your request the respect of time. If what you dream of arrives a year from now, but it is perfect and precise, wasn't it worth the wait?
Believing is Seeing
There are people who believe only what they see, and there are those who see what they believe. The path to your truest self feels like a homecoming. Choose to believe in the magic you can create. Don't wait for your fears to become reality; instead, use your belief to build the life you've always felt in your heart.
